Drawing in visitors to the site is only the first phase of The Nursing Channel’s evolution; ultimately, we hope nursing communities from outside University Health Network will submit their own stories. We describe this spirit of collaboration as “convergence,” creating a space for personal experiences and shared values to connect. The possibility of connecting with nurses beyond the hospital walls is inspiring; perhaps just as exciting is the awareness that The Nursing Channel can expand far and wide, while still maintaining its identity as a place for personal storytelling within a caring, close-knit community of nurses.
